In 2011 the Los Angeles Dodgers where sued by a San Francisco Giants fan who was beaten and disabled at Dodger Stadium during a Giants vs Dodger game. The Dodgers where found at fault and had to pay the fan $18 million for not having adequate security. In 2019 the Dodgers are being sued for security beating up a fan for $ 2 million. Needless to say in either of these situation hiring professional security would have saved a lot of money.
